    Easy-prep large chip coco husk

    This compressed block of coco husk has very low string and dust, and the large chips make it very fast to prepare. Other blocks I've used need +25 minutes to hydrate and decompress fully, but this block is ready to use almost immediately. Just cut off the top of the bag, put the block under the faucet for 2 minutes, drain, cut off the bag, and the block breaks apart into ready to use substrate. It's great for tropical reptiles and cheaper than loose substrate.

    Very good substrate at a fair price

    Very happy with the packaging size (especially for bedding larger enclosures) and the substrate itself is very clean with almost no substrate ‘dust’’. It also holds humidity very well in my PVC/waterproofed hardwood enclosures. Being compressed, it does require the extra soaking step but is a much better value than loosely packed substrate especially for those that have a larger amount of area to cover.
