Pangea Breeding Formula
A complete gecko diet, PBF is designed to fulfill the unique requirements of reproductive crested geckos. The main source of fat and protein in this food is from Insects (crickets and black soldier fly larvae) while still remaining palatable and well liked by almost all geckos. The fruits used are a delicious blend of Bananas and Apricots that creates a feeding response similar to our other formulas. The higher fat levels help keep egg production strong throughout the breeding season. The calcium level is near the maximum level for a complete diet. It is safe and sometimes necessary to add a little plain calcium to the food if your females are becoming depleted. Alternatively, you can offer plain calcium in a dish for your females to lick from as needed. For more information on calcium please see our article here. To get the most out of this diet, fresh food should be offered at least every other day during the breeding season even though there will be some waste. Smaller more frequent feedings are more appropriate for breeders than sparse feedings on which they tend to gourge themselves. Live dusted insects are optional but can be offered once or twice a week in place of PBF for variety and to help keep your geckos active and stimulated.
PBF was is ideally suited as a breeder formula but can be fed to geckos of all life stages. It is showing a lot of promise as a growth formula however it was developed and tested with breeders so it will take more time before we can conclusively make that claim.

My crested gecko has always been a picky eater and I noticed he'd lost a few grams over the winter and wasn't as eager to eat. I had been switching between a Repashy blend and another Pangea that was previously his favourite but he barely touched it now. His health is fine but wanting him to bulk up a little I thought I'd give this a try. The first night I put it in his setup he ate half of it! Usually he does a few licks then leaves his food alone. Clearly he loves this stuff and I'm definently going to be ordering it again!
I had 2 little geckos that were growing sooooo sloooooowly, I bought this and mixed it with some of the other fruit flavours and my geckos not only LOVE it but they are finally starting to grow! Highly recommend this!
Best food...all of my Geckos go crazy for it has a better feeding response than rapashy:)
Tried it with leachianus, crested and day geckos. The powder is a weird texture compared to other pangea food but it's just thicker and as more insect matter. My leachie cleaned her bowl and everyone else ate most of it so they seem to enjoy it. Can be mixed with other fruitier foods too if yours is picky. One of my day gecko is too small for most bugs so it's nice to give him something with a lot of protein to help make up for that.
