Dr. Turtle Slow-Release Calcium Block
Dr. Turtle knows that calcium is a critical nutrient for effective, strong shell growth. The Zoo Med Dr. Turtle Slow-Release calcium block slowly dissolves in water, conditioning your tank water over time.
Calcium promotes healthy shell growth in aquatic turtles. These blocks must be used in conjunction with UVB lighting and a heat source to ensure shell development. Turtles suffering shell deformities may have a calcium deficiency. Check with your vet and be sure to have a stock of calcium blocks on hand.
Simply drop calcium block into tank water. Also suitable for tanks containing snails.
